Fall 2014

In the fall we did some house stuff (it's a VERY slow process) with no pictures to show.  Greg went back to school, but got a promotion.  He's now second in command as the Curriculum Principal at Wood Creek Junior High.  Very proud of him.  Loved having him home for a short time this summer, but all things must come to an end.

September
In September I got to go on my last girls trip of the year with my college roommies, but we also got to take a little family trip.  We went to the big city of Minneola, Tx for Greg's cousin's wedding.  We stayed on Aunt Janet's ranch.  The little boys quickly found their inner country.

October
In October we did as many fun fall things as humanly possible in spite of the 90 degree weather.  The joys of living in Texas.  We went to a pumpkin farm, carved pumpkins, baked pumpkin seeds...had a blast!

Brody went trick or treating as Clark Kent.  Total coincidence that Grandad had the same idea!  He was a little hesitant at first, but got the hang of knocking on doors and getting candy.  I think his favorite part was playing with his candy when we got home.  Yes, he did get to eat a piece or two, but he had more fun sorting and separating out his candy.  The apple didn't fall far from the tree.

November

A highlight in November was getting to see the Blue Angles at the Wings Over Houston Air Show.  We went with Granna & Grandad and all really enjoyed it!  Brody liked all the planes and did really well for no nap.  How cute is B with ear protection?!?

Oh, and in November we bought a "new" car.  Traded in our gas guzzling Expedition for a more practical CRV.  I thought I would be sad to give up my big "truck" but I am loving the CRV and the amazing gas prices that go with it.
