We took Brody to get his first haircut. Greg had been trying to get me to take him for awhile, but I just wasn't ready to get that precious baby hair cut. Then he developed a bit of a mullet and I decided it was time. It started off with Brody playing sweetly in the waiting area. This lasted about .5 seconds and then he was ready to go. SO, he was basically already over this place by the time they called his name. They gave him a sucker which basically just got blue drool all over his face since he wasn't really eating it. And let him watch a movie while Greg blew bubbles for him. A child's dream come true, right? Well, not if your name is Brody Kraus. Again, he did ok for about .5 seconds and then crying, nearly falling out of the chair and scaring the lady cutting his hair half to death ensued. He cried off and on the whole time and cried even after we left for several minutes. It.was.not.pleasant. But we managed to get through it. Greg joked that since he went to his first haircut he doesn't need to go again. However, I think it should be a father-son bonding time. Either way, I'm praying his hair grows
really slow!

Playing sweetly. |

Doing good for all of one minute. |
Saddest sad face ever. Notice the blue mouth. |
Stopped crying to check out the comb in his face. |
He did like ringing the bell on his "fire truck" but then cried again. |
Notice the spike the lady gave him! This was several minutes after we left and he was still crying! |
But at least it looks cute!! I used to go to that place, but we switched to Pigtails and Crewcuts....the boys do MUCH better there and they give them animal crackers instead of suckers :) I am not sure why, but Matthew HATED the first place and LOVES Pigtails and Crewcuts. Just a thought for next time! :)
