21 Months

Oh my goodness!  How this sweet, precious one melts me into a giant puddle.  I can say, he is a total mama's boy too.  : )  Unfortunately, little mister was sick a lot between 18-21 months.  It was hard, but hopefully we're all better now!  Brody (as all my friends and family keep telling me) is no longer a baby.  He'll tell you he's a "baby big boy".  He talks more and more (not sure how many words can can say) but he does really well at repeating most things.  He's started counting (loves even numbers, especially two) and singing some of the letters in his ABCs (G,P,Z).  He'll also sing certain words of songs and loves to sing "let it go".  He most certainly suffers from the "hangry" (hungry=angry) disease that I partially blame on his birthday buddy, but if his little belly is full he's one sweet boy.  Brody is also so very friendly.  He'll flirt with pretty ladies when we're out at stores and he almost always waves to other little people that he sees out and about.  His best little buddy is Grace.  They are so cute together (he's older by a couple weeks) and Grace has determined Brody to be "silly".  Her words, not mine.

 Things Brody loves right now:
Macaroni and cheese, dancing, basketball, golf, being outside, water, bath time, wagon rides, soccer, bubbles, helping (with almost anything "big"), washing hands, Mickey Mouse, playing on any playground, All Stars (a very kid friendly neighborhood grill), car carts at the grocery store, "driving" the real car, visiting the new house, talking on Face Time, sunglasses, his cousins, books and reading.

As cousin Jordan helped us realize, Brody is a little kid trapped in a big kids body.  Not sure how tall he is, but he's 28 lbs.

I'm trying to grasp the fact that in a few short months my little man is going to be 2!  Trying being the key word!
