A Princess Party and the King of Kings

Kennedy Lynne's birthday was the Monday after Easter this year and we were able to go to Dallas to celebrate our RISEN SAVIOR and one of his precious little princesses (Kennedy has asked Jesus into her heart!!).

And what kind of birthday party should a five year old princess have?  A Frozen party of course!  Sarah (who will openly admit to her lack of crafting enthusiasm) totally did a FABULOUS job giving Little Miss exactly what she wanted...a Frozen party at home.  Although Sarah did try multiple attempts to convince Kennedy to have her birthday party pretty much anywhere else, it was a great success!!

Even Anna and Elsa were able to make the party!

Real life sister princesses. : )

Cutest reindeer I've ever seen!

Frozen bingo.

Pin the nose of Olaf.

I know one little party goer who had the time of his little life!

After the party we all crashed, watched Frozen and then mustered up some energy to play outside.

I love being able to spend Easter with family and celebrate Christ's love for us and the sacrifice he made.

I was SO thankful that we didn't have to leave on Sunday (thanks to my dear, sweet husband).  We were able to go to breakfast with the birthday girl the following morning and then head home.  And an added bonus (sadly, not pictured) is that Nana and Poppy were totally spontaneous and drove with us to Houston.  They were able to get a little bit more Brody time, see our house under construction and then headed home on Tuesday.

I totally love this sweet, spunky 5 year old!

And this was from the previous weekend.  We went to an Easter Egg Hunt in the neighborhood.
