My precious little Brody is a month old. A month old!! I feel like he's going to be leaving for college soon if his life keeps at this pace. I mean seriously I can hardly believe he's been in the world and a part of our lives for a month. It's been a whirlwind and has gone SO fast.
Brody is a really good baby and Greg and I consider ourselves blessed. Brody (like his mother) loves to sleep. I know, I know all babies like to sleep, but trust me when I say that Brody LOVES to sleep. He can sleep all day and then sleep all night like it's nothin'. As mentioned in a previous post, we are trying to do baby wise with the pattern of eat-play-sleep. Needless to say, there is not room for much playtime (and not just because he's a little baby). His usual pattern goes from eating to sleeping to eating again. Sometimes during the day, I get a little concerned that he has slept too much and that he won't sleep at night, but then does and I've worried for nothing. Being on a schedule where Brody eats every 2 & 1/2 to 3 hours makes the day go by so fast. We've been pretty content to stay at home and hang out and really haven't ventured out on our own yet except to go to the doctor. It seems hard to get anywhere considering our turn around time. We have gotten out some on the weekends when dad is around to help. We did celebrate his one month birthday by going out to dinner with Granna and Grandad. Brody was a total angel baby and after sitting in his car seat quietly for a few minutes, he drifted off to sleep.
Brody (obviously) loves sleep and also enjoys laying on daddy's chest, bath time, and being outside. He's not been outside much because it's been so hot, but if he's fussy at all I step outside and it has an immediate calming effect. I'm looking forward to cooler weather so we can get out more.
Brody had his one month appointment with Dr. B. He is totally healthy and we do not take that for granted. We feel so blessed for every healthy check up we get. Brody had a MAJOR growth spurt since his two week appointment. He weighs 10 lbs 11 oz (68th percentile) and is 22 & 3/4 inches long (80th percentile).
Here are some more pics from his first month.

That is a precious little ET face :). I just can't stand it that I won't see him till he's all chubby and probably sitting up. Thanks for the pics, love that little guy (and his parents too)!!
